Two National R&D Centers

Independent Innovation


In 2007, GanoHerb was determined as the "National Research Center for Edible Fungi Processing Technology" by the Ministry of Agriculture.

In 2012, GanoHerb was rated as "National and Local Joint Engineering Research Center for Cultivation and Deep Processing of Medicinal Fungi" by the National Development and Reform Commission.

These two National Research Centers mark that the technological level of
GanoHerb is advanced in the Ganoderma industry.










A Developer of National and International standards on Ganoderma

In 2007, GanoHerb participated into the development of Standards on Harvesting and Processing Techniques of Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder.

In 2010, GanoHerb participated into the development of the standard on Health Food Raw Materials - Ganoderma Lucidum Extracts (Including Ganoderma Ethanol Extract and Ganoderma Water Extract) .

In 2012, GanoHerb participated into the development of Fujian Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Decoction Pieces Preparation Standard - Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Powder.

In 2016, GanoHerb participated into the development of International Business Standard on Ganoderma Extract.

In 2018, GanoHerb participated into the development of International Business Standard on Ganoderma Lucidum Spore Oil.


GanoHerb Academician Workstations

In 2010, Ganoherb and Yu Dequan (Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Researcher of the Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese
Academy of Medical Sciences) jointly established the first academician
workstation of Fujian agricultural system—GanoHerb Academician
Workstation to carry out the cooperation on 11 projects such as modernized Processing technology of medicinal fungi in order to transform scientific and technological achievements into practical applications.













[GanoHerb Technology R&D Center/Researcher Yao Weixi ]

GanoHerb hired Yao Weixi, Former Researcher of the Ecological Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, as the chief expert of GanoHerb. With his specialty in supercritical extraction technology, he led the R&D team made of masters and doctors as the backbone force to realize the online classification and purification of Ganoderma lucidum spore oil.






More Than 20 National Invention Patents


Since 2001, GanoHerb has obtained more than 20 national invention patents that cover all aspects of cultivation, quality control, deep processing technology and product development.


Cooperating Teams on Cultures, Cultivation or Pharmacology
[Professor Zhibin Lin of Pharmacology Department, Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences]
In 2012, GanoHerb Group and Professor Lin Zhibin cooperated on the project of "Antitumor Activity Research and Product Development on Ganoderma lucidum".

[Professor Xu Ruixiang of Department of Biochemical Science and Technology, NTU]
Both parties cooperated on the establishment of a gene bank for the identification of Ganoderma lucidum seed source in order to determine the gene sequence of seed source of Ganoderma lucidum of GanoHerb.

[Professor Baoxue Yang of Pharmacology Department, Peking University School of Basic Medical Sciences]
In 2013, GanoHerb and Professor Baoxue Yang cooperated on the project of "Research and Application of Protective Effect of Ganoderma Lucidum on Kidney".


[Professor Guang Yao of Molecular Biology Lab of the University of Arizona]
A study in collaboration with Professor Guang Yao from 2014 to 2016 found that the active ingredients in Ganoderma lucidum can both inhibit rapidly proliferating cancer cells and kill dormant drug-resistant cancer cells. The scientific discovery was published on Oncotarget in January 2017.

GanoHerb has been conducting academic exchanges with the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences all the year round and began to cooperate in the artificial cultivation and deep processing of space Ganoderma lucidum in 2017.

In 2017, a strategic cooperation agreement was signed to conduct research on the project titled Application of Ganoderma Lucidum Extract in the Development of New Foods and Drinks Rich in Bioactive Ingredients.

Over the years, GanoHerb has been cooperating with Professor Jianhua Xu's research team for a long time to explore the active ingredients and anti-tumor activity of Ganoderma lucidum by virtue of Professor Jianhua Xu’s specialty in tumor pharmacology and anticancer drug development.
